Magic Kingdom is big and criss‑crossing across the park all day (especially in the Florida heat) can lead to tired feet and cranky kids. This sample two‑day plan is designed to keep you in one area at a time so your visit feels calmer, smoother and far more magical from morning to night.
In the end, the best plan is the one that helps you experience the magic in the way that feels right for your family. Think of this as a starting point you can shape to fit your own Disney style.

Check out the Disney World Lightning Lanes printable to get instant information on lightning lane options and tiers and typical ride wait times without lightning lanes, helping you decide when to purchase lightning lanes and what rides to prioritize.

Day 1: Fantasyland, Frontierland & Liberty Square
What to Book
- Winnie the Pooh – Tier 2 LL for early-morning (~9 – 10 AM)
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure – Tier 1 LL for late morning (~11AM – 1PM)
- Haunted Mansion – Tier 2 LL for later in the day
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – Individual Lightning Lane during a morning or afternoon slot

Morning: Early Entry & Rope Drop
- 8.15 – 8.30: Start Early Entry at Peter Pan’s Flight.
- Tap into Winnie the Pooh between 9 and 10 AM.
- After tapping in, tiers unlock. Book Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (~11 – 1 PM), which pairs perfectly with your Tiana’s Bayou Adventure LL.
- Continue any Fantasyland attractions or meet-and-greets close to Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh before heading to Frontierland, which is a short walk from Fantasyland.
- Fantasyland is the most attraction-rich area of Magic Kingdom. Don’t try to complete everything in Fantasyland before heading to Frontierland – the two lands are close and you can return later.
- If your Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Individual Lightning Lane is for the morning, you can also ride this attraction after Winnie the Pooh instead of completing the rest of the Fantasyland attractions.
Late Morning to Afternoon
- Head to Frontierland for your lightning lanes for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
- Once you scan into your two Lightning Lanes, book more for the afternoon in Fantasyland (unless you want to repeat an attraction in Frontierland).
- Return to Fantasyland to experience more attractions and character meet-and-greets before your afternoon break (see Afternoon Breaks below).
Afternoon & Evening
- After your afternoon break, enjoy any remaining shows or attractions at Fantasyland at a relaxed pace before moving onto Frontierland for your Haunted Mansion lightning lane.
- Wrap up your day with the Disney Starlight Parade and Happily Ever After.

Day 2: Tomorrowland & Adventureland
What to Book
- Space Mountain – Tier 1 LL for morning (~10 – 12)
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – Tier 2 LL for morning (~10 – 12)
- Pirates of the Caribbean – Tier 2 LL for late afternoon (~4-6 PM)
Morning: Early Entry & Rope Drop
- 8.15 – 8.30: Start Early Entry at TRON.
- Tap into Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
- After tapping in, tiers unlock. Book Jungle Cruise (~4 – 6 PM), which pairs perfectly with your Pirates of the Caribbean LL later in the day.
- Book your remaining lightning lane slot for an attraction in Tomorrowland or Adventureland, or an attraction you missed or want to repeat at a different land on Day 1 (for after 6 PM).

Late Morning to Afternoon
- Complete the rest of the attractions and character meet-and-greets in Tomorrowland before your afternoon break (see Afternoon Breaks below).
- This is a lighter day than Day 1 – a great opportunity for a table service or character dining lunch or catching a daytime parade from a quick service restaurant window.
Afternoon & Evening
- After your afternoon break, head to Adventureland for Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean, then finish any remaining attractions in the area at a relaxed pace.
- Make time for any shows and characters you didn’t meet earlier in the day.
- For the evening, you can decide between experiencing the nighttime entertainment a second time or repeating any attractions as ride wait times are lower during the nighttime attractions!

Pro-Tip: If meeting characters is important to you, keep an eye out for character times released in the morning on the My Disney Experience app.
